Combur-7 Test Strip 100s
RM 145.20
The Combur-7 Test test strips are used to assess the levels of glucose, protein, leucocytes, nitrite, pH, and blood in urine.
1. For about 1 second, immerse the test strip in urine.
2. When removing the strip, wipe the edge against the vessel's rim to eliminate any excess urine.
3. After 1 minute, compare the colour of the strip's detection pad to the colour scale on the vial's colour scale. During operation, the strips face downwards, keeping fingers safe from the samples.
Check for the expiry date on the package.
Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture or volatile fumes. Only remove as many strips as required, and immediately close the bottle.
Avoid using strips that are discoloured. Examine the colour of the unused strip against the negative area on the colour chart provided. The colours should be the same.
A urine test is a standard test that uses a urine sample to check many different elements of your health. Urinalysis tests are commonly used by healthcare providers to check for or monitor specific health disorders, as well as to diagnose urinary tract infections.
Urine test strips, also known as dipsticks such as Combur-7 Test are a common tool used to assess the chemical components of a urine sample. Chemical pads on the strips change colour when they come into touch with certain substances. The amount of material present can be estimated by the degree of colour change on the dipstick, which also indicates if the substances are beyond their normal levels.
