Dr Lim Choo Gee graduated from University of Malaya in 2000 and has served in Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Seremban up till 2006. He then went for a short stint in London before obtaining his Internal Medicine Specialist Certificate from United Kingdom in 2006. He returned to Malaysia in 2007 and left for Singapore General Hospital in 2008 to further his training in the field of Nephrology. He was well-versed in the areas of general nephrology, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, kidney transplantation and general medicine while working in this busy regional centre of referral for kidney patients. Apart from his busy schedule, he also trained medical students and post-graduate medical residents in his capacity as clinical tutor for Duke-National University of Singapore Post-graduate Medical School. While working in Singapore General Hospital, his main interests lied in critical care nephrology, hemodialysis and kidney transplantation and he has done research and presented in internal and regional conferences in these areas.
