Which is the Insurance Company underwriting the docoSURE?

docoSURE plan is under-written by Tune Insurance Malaysia Berhad.

Who is eligible to buy?

All members / registered users of DoctorOnCall who are Malaysian citizens (aged 18-65) are eligible to buy this plan.

Is it mandatory to be a DoctorOnCall member prior to purchasing?

Yes, please register here before making any purchase. You will be able to enjoy a wide range of telehealth services by being a member of DoctorOnCall.

Can I cancel my Insurance cover and get a refund?

No. You will not be entitled to any refund of premium for any cancellation.

Can I purchase the Insurance for another person?

Yes. You are most welcome to provide coverage for your family members only (spouse and children aged 18 to 65 years old).

Is there a health declaration form or medical report needed before I can purchase this Insurance?

No health declaration form or medical report is required.

Do I need to provide my COVID-19 vaccination certificate to avail of this offer?

It is not required; however, your consent will be taken as per terms and conditions when you are applying. A false declaration will result in claims being declined by the Insurer.

What does the Death Benefit cover?

It covers all deaths due to accidents. Any other natural causes of deaths are excluded. Please refer to the Product Disclosure Sheet (PDS) for full details.

What are the major exclusions under this policy?

It excludes death due to hazardous occupations and hobbies. Please refer to the PDS for the full list of exclusions.

What is the period of coverage under this Insurance?

The period of coverage is six (6) months.

Is there any waiting period before I am eligible for the benefits?

Yes, there is a waiting period of fourteen (14) days from date of cover before you are eligible for the daily COVID-19 hospitalization allowance. For accidental death there is no waiting period.

How and where do I update my beneficiary nomination?

You can download and update the information on the nomination form. Upon completion, please email to [email protected].

Under docoSURE, what am I protected for and what are the benefits that me, or my nominee will be paid?

docoSURE provides DAILY HOSPITAL ALLOWANCE of RM100/day for a maximum of five (5) days due to COVID-19 hospitalization for 6 months only. Additional benefits are based on the coverage you purchase:

docoSURE50k Cover will provide your nominee a death benefit of RM50,000 for all deaths due to accidents, and RM25,000 death benefit due to COVID-19. Any other natural causes of deaths are excluded. Please refer to the Product Disclosure Sheet (PDS) for full details.
