[Bundle 3] Ozempic Pain Relief Support (with Terrafast) 1s
RM 1695.44
This is a bundle product that combines two prescription medicines:
Ozempic® (Semaglutide) – an injection used to improve blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes and support weight management.
Terrafast® (Paracetamol) – a trusted pain reliever and fever reducer.
Together, this bundle is designed for patients on Ozempic therapy who may also experience discomfort such as headaches, muscle pain, or general body aches. Terrafast® provides effective relief for body aches that may occur during Ozempic use, ensuring you stay comfortable while maintaining your treatment routine.
Ozempic®: Inject once weekly using a pre-filled pen under the skin (subcutaneous injection) in the thigh, abdomen, or upper arm. Rotate injection sites each week.
Terrafast® (Paracetamol): Take orally with water. Can be taken with or without food.
Ozempic®:
Start with 0.25 mg once weekly for 4 weeks.
May increase to 0.5 mg weekly. If needed, your doctor may further adjust to 1 mg or 2 mg weekly.
Terrafast® (Paracetamol):
Adults: 500 mg–1,000 mg every 4–6 hours as needed.
Maximum: 4,000 mg per day.
Follow your doctor’s prescription. Do not exceed recommended doses.
Ozempic®: Up to 2 years unopened. After first use, pens must be used within 6 weeks.
Terrafast®: Usually 2–3 years unopened. Always check packaging for the expiry date.
Ozempic®: Store refrigerated (2–8°C) before first use. After opening, it may be stored at room temperature (below 30°C) or in the fridge. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
Terrafast®: Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep tightly closed.
Ozempic®: Semaglutide.
Terrafast®: Paracetamol (acetaminophen).
Ozempic®:
Common: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, constipation, decreased appetite.
Rare but serious: Pancreatitis, gallstones, thyroid tumors (in predisposed patients).
Terrafast® (Paracetamol):
Common: Generally well tolerated.
Rare: Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing), liver damage if overdosed.
Ozempic®: Not suitable for patients with a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Terrafast® (Paracetamol): Contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment or hypersensitivity to paracetamol.
Ozempic®: May slow gastric emptying, affecting absorption of some oral medicines. Risk of hypoglycemia when combined with insulin or sulfonylureas.
Terrafast® (Paracetamol): Alcohol increases the risk of liver damage. Avoid combining with other paracetamol-containing medicines.
Use Terrafast® only when needed and never exceed 4,000 mg in 24 hours.
Avoid alcohol while taking paracetamol to protect your liver.
Take Ozempic® on the same day each week for consistent blood sugar control.
Stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet for overall health.
Contact your doctor if pain persists despite using Terrafast®.
1. Why are Ozempic and Terrafast bundled together?
Because some patients may experience body aches, headaches, or fever during Ozempic treatment, Terrafast® provides safe and effective relief alongside diabetes management.
2. Can I take Terrafast® daily?
Yes, but only as needed for pain or fever. Do not exceed the daily limit of 4,000 mg.
3. Is paracetamol safe with Ozempic?
Yes, they can be used together safely. Always check with your doctor if you are taking other medicines.
4. What should I do if I accidentally take too much paracetamol?
Seek medical help immediately. Overdose may cause severe liver damage.
5. Can I drink alcohol while using this bundle?
Avoid alcohol, especially while taking paracetamol, to reduce the risk of liver problems.
