Product Overview

Introduction of Liza 30mcg/3mg Tablet 21s

p>Liza 30mcg/3mg Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive pill belonging to the class of hormonal contraceptives, formulated with two active ingredients — Ethinylestradiol (30mcg) and Drospirenone (3mg) — working together as a carefully balanced hormonal combination. If you are considering this tablet, it is good to know that like most hormonal contraceptives, it may come with some side effects such as nausea, headache, breast tenderness, and mood changes, which are commonly reported by users. This is a prescription-based medicine, so it is important that you speak with your doctor or pharmacist before starting or switching to this tablet. We understand that choosing the right contraceptive pill can feel overwhelming, and we want you to feel informed and confident — knowing what to expect, how to take it correctly, and when to seek medical advice makes all the difference in your experience with this medicine.

How to Take Liza 30mcg/3mg Tablet

Liza 30mcg/3mg Tablet should be taken orally, once daily, at approximately the same time each day, with or without food, following the sequence indicated on the blister pack. It is important not to skip doses or take them out of order, as this may affect the tablet's reliability and your hormonal balance. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's specific instructions regarding when to start your first pack and what to do if you miss a dose.

Dosage of Liza 30mcg/3mg Tablet

The standard recommended dosage is one tablet daily for 21 consecutive days, followed by a 7-day tablet-free interval, after which a new pack is started — making it a 21-day active pill cycle. Your doctor will advise you on the most appropriate starting schedule based on your individual health profile and medical history.

Shelf Life of Liza 30mcg/3mg Tablet

Liza 30mcg/3mg Tablet typically has a shelf life of 2 to 3 years from the date of manufacture, as indicated on the packaging. Always check the expiry date printed on the blister pack and outer carton before use, and do not consume the tablet if it has passed its expiry date. Expired tablets should be disposed of safely and responsibly, and never flushed down the drain or discarded in general household waste without proper pharmaceutical disposal guidance.

How to Store Liza 30mcg/3mg Tablet

  • Store at room temperature below 30°C
  • Keep in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture
  • Do not store in the bathroom or near the kitchen sink where humidity levels are high
  • Keep the tablets in their original blister packaging until ready for use
  • Store out of reach of children and pets
  • Do not use the tablet if the packaging appears damaged, tampered with, or if the tablet has changed in colour or texture
