A Scabs is used for the treatment of scabies. Permethrin is one of the active ingredients in A-SCABS. It is an anti-parasitic medicine that belongs to the pyrethoids class of drugs.
1. Always use A Scabs lotion only exactly as directed by your doctor. If you are unsure, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist. 2. Before beginning treatment, make sure your skin is clean, dry, and cool. 3. Thoroughly apply to all body parts, from the head to the soles of the feet, paying special attention to all folds and creases. Scabies rarely infects the scalp of adults, but it can infest the hairline, neck, temples, and forehead of infants and the elderly. 4. Allow the medication to sit on your skin for 8 to 14 hours before washing it off completely. 5. A 30ml bottle is usually enough for an adult. In general, one application is curative. Following treatment, patients may experience persistent pruritus (skin itchiness). This is rarely a sign of treatment failure and does not necessitate further treatment. 6. Even after the mite has been killed, itching usually lasts for a few days or even weeks. This is due to the fact that the allergic reaction takes time to subside.
