Introduction of Aerochamber Adult (Blue) 1s

The Aerochamber is used to correctly administer aerosolised medication from most pressurised Metered Dose Inhalers (MDI) especially in patients who are unable to coordinate or control the use of MDIs. This product is designed specifically for adult use and should only be used with a prescription.

  • ComfortSeal mask: Soft and pleasant face mask that provides vital face mask seal. Exhaled medication is directed away from the patient's face and eyes with the 'EZ Flow' Extension Valve.
  • Built-in, low-resistance, one-way inhalation valve opens quickly and prevents exhalation back into the chamber.
  • Universal Adapter: Compatible with the majority of regularly prescribed MDIs.
  • Dishwasher Safe: The take-apart device is dishwasher safe at temperatures below 70 degrees Celsius.

How To Use Aerochamber Adult (Blue) 1s

1. Take a deep breath out slowly.
2. Place the mouthpiece between your teeth in your mouth and seal your lips around it.
3. Take a deep breath and press the inhaler once more. The drug will be injected into the AeroChamber®.
4. Take a slow, deep breath in for 3 to 5 seconds. The AeroChamber® may whistle if you breathe in too quickly.
5. Exhale slowly and hold your breath for up to ten seconds. This gives the drug plenty of time to settle in the airways.
6. Return to regular breathing.
7. If more than one puff is indicated, repeat steps 1–6.

Keep in dry place at room temperature.

Warning Precautions

Avoid boiling, sterilising or cleaning in a dishwater at temperatures above 70˚C. The product may be permanently damaged. Do not leave the chamber unattended around children.

About Aerochamber Adult (Blue) 1s

Most spacers, also known as a holding chamber include a one-way valve at the mouthpiece. This device works as an adjunct to an inhaler. It helps hold aerosolised medicine, allowing the user more time to take slow and deep breaths without losing any of the medicine. Having a longer delivery time aids in better absoprtion of medication by the lungs. There's also lesser need to coordinate the user's breathing and the pumping of the inhaler. These devices are effective alternatives to nebulisers, especially in children or those who are not able to efficiently take deep breaths.
