Using an LF Reader, the Influenza A+B Rapid Test can qualitatively identify influenza A and B antigens in specimens obtained through nasopharyngeal swab, throat swab, or nasal aspirate collection. It is meant to help with the quick differential diagnosis of viral influenza A and B infections.

How To Use Alltest Influenza A + B Rapid Test Kit 1s
Prepare the Test Kit: Ensure the test kit is at room temperature before use. Bring the kit to the testing area and open the pouch containing the test device.
Label the Device: Write the patient or specimen information on the provided space on the test device.
Collect the Specimen:
For nasopharyngeal or nasal swab specimens.
Insert the swab into the nostril.
Gently rub and roll the swab against the nasal wall.
Withdraw the swab without touching the outer surface.
For other specimen types, follow the kit instructions.
Perform the Test:
Insert the swab into the extraction buffer tube.
Rotate the swab to mix the specimen thoroughly.
Squeeze the sides of the tube to release excess liquid.
Apply Specimen to the Test Device: Hold the test device vertically and add the extracted specimen into the sample well.
Read the Results: Interpret the results within the specified timeframe mentioned in the kit instructions. Results typically appear as lines or symbols on the test device.
Interpretation of Results:
Positive Result: The presence of both the control line and the test line indicates a positive result.
Negative Result: The presence of the control line only indicates a negative result.
Invalid Result: If no control line appears, the test is invalid, and the procedure should be repeated.
Dispose of Materials: Properly dispose of used swabs and other testing materials following recommended guidelines.
