Introduction of Apo-Terazosin 2mg Tablet 10s (strip)
If you have any kidney or liver issues, tell your doctor before taking it. Also, tell your doctor about any other drugs you're taking, since some of them may interact with or be impacted by this one. If recommended by a doctor, this drug is normally regarded safe to use during pregnancy and nursing. Drinking alcohol might cause your symptoms to worsen by increasing the amount of acid in your stomach.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Warning Precautions
Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Apo-Terazosin 2mg Tablet 10s (strip). Taking Apo-Terazosin 2mg Tablet 10s (strip) with alcohol may have worsened the additive effects of Apo-Terazosin 2mg Tablet 10s (strip) such as headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, feeling of increased heartbeats and low blood pressure.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Apo-Terazosin 2mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown side effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies and the safety profile during pregnancy is not established. It should not be used unless the potential benefit outweighs the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Excretion of Apo-Terazosin 2mg Tablet 10s (strip) in breast milk is still not known and the safety profile is not established in lactating women. Hence, it is not recommended during breastfeeding.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Apo-Terazosin 2mg Tablet 10s (strip) may cause side effects such as dizziness, headches or syncope, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
No dosage adjustments needed for patients with renal insufficiency.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Apo-Terazosin 2mg Tablet 10s (strip) is metabolized extensively by the liver, therefore, dose adjustment is needed in individuals wiith impaired liver function. For patients with severe hepatic impairment, Apo-Terazosin 2mg Tablet 10s (strip) usage is not recommended.
Quick Tips
This medication can cause a sudden drop in your blood pressure, particularly when you start taking this medicine first.
To lower the risk of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you've been sitting or lying down.
Do not drink alcohol when taking it as it can enhance the blood pressure lowering effect of this medication causing increased dizziness.
Be careful when driving or doing something that needs focus as it can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
Tell your doctor that you are taking this medication if you are scheduled for eye surgery.
