Arley Membrane prevents milk from backflowing into the pump, protecting the pump from liquid damage. It also helps to ensure that suction power and pressure are delivered consistently and evenly. To maintain optimal suction power and protect the pump from liquid damage, it is recommended to replace the Arley Silicone Membrane once it is damaged or deformed, or every 3-6 months depending on usage frequency.
