Bilaxten 20mg Tablet may be taken one hour before or two hours after meals. It is best taken at the same time each day to get the most benefit. It should be regarded as medical advise from your doctor. The dosage and frequency with which you take it are determined by the condition for which you are taking it. Your doctor will determine how much treatment you will need to alleviate your symptoms. Remember that the dose is determined by the kind of medication (tablet or syrup), the age of the patient, and the current medical state of the individual. You should continue to take this medication for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you. If you do not see any improvement in your symptoms, you should speak with your doctor. Headaches and sleepiness are the most frequent adverse effects associated with this medication. Inform your doctor if any of these annoy you or seem to be severe. It's possible that there are methods for decreasing or avoiding them. Generally speaking, it is recommended to drink lots of fluids while taking this medication as part of your therapy. To prevent dizziness, avoid driving or engaging in other tasks that need your whole concentration until you have a better understanding of how the medication affects you. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing before beginning treatment with this medication. Your doctor should also be aware of any other medications you are taking, since many of them may interfere with the effectiveness of this medication or alter its mechanism of action. Before taking the medication, you must refrain from drinking any fruit juice.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
