This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Apart from the list of Controloc uses, there could be certain side-effects associated with the usage of the medication. Please refer to the list below:-

Dryness or even ulcers in mouth
Constipation
While some these symptoms are more common, there are a few rare symptoms that could also occur. If you are feeling any other symptoms (whether it is mentioned in the above list or not), please consult with a doctor immediately. These symptoms become more prominent as when one is undergoing a long term therapy with this medication.

Controloc Drug Interactions
Drug to drug interaction reaction of Controloc varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.

Alcohol Warning (Safe)
It is safe to consume alcohol with Controloc 20mg Tablet 14s. Consuming Pantoprazolewith alcohol will not interfere with the way the medication works.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Controloc 20mg Tablet 14s excretion in the breast milk is unknown. Hence, it is not recommended for the patient to be on Controloc 20mg Tablet 14s while breastfeeding.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Controloc 20mg Tablet 14s usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
Controloc 20mg Tablet 14s can be used in patients with kidney impairment.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Controloc 20mg Tablet 14s should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Controloc 20mg Tablet 14s may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Controloc 20mg Tablet is a well-tolerated medication that offers long-term comfort.
Here are some helpful hints for avoiding acidity;
1) Avoid carbonated beverages/soft drinks, citrus juices, fried foods, and caffeinated beverages such as tea and coffee in excess
2) Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages and smoking.
3) It's best not to eat late at night or just before sleep.
Notify your doctor if you have watery diarrhoea, a fever, or persistent stomach discomfort.
Long-term usage of Controloc 20mg Tablet may result in brittle bones and a mineral shortage, such as magnesium. Take calcium and magnesium supplements or calcium and magnesium supplements as directed by your doctor.
If you have reduced urination, edoema (swelling caused by fluid retention), lower back discomfort, nausea, tiredness, or a rash or fever, see your doctor immediately. These symptoms may indicate a renal issue.
