Description

Product Description:

The OnSite COVID-19 Ag Self Test is a single-use lateral flow immunoassay designed to identify SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigens in nasal swab specimens from persons suspected with COVID-19. The test is intended to be used with self-collected samples taken within the first seven days after the onset of symptoms to aid in the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Directions of Use:

  1. Clean and dry a flat, well-lit surface, such as a table, for your test space. 
  2. Insert the swab's fabric tip approximately 2cm into one nostril. If you encounter significant resistance or pain, stop inserting the swab. Rotate the swab at least five times inside the nose, pressing against the nasal wall. 
  3. Repeat the procedure in the other nostril using the same swab.
  4. Carefully remove the buffer tube from the rack and insert the swab's cloth tip into it. At least five times, swirl the swab in the liquid. 
  5. Remove the swab from the liquid and squeeze the tube against the fabric tip to remove any excess moisture. Take the cotton swab out of the buffer tube. 
  6. Firmly insert the nozzle into the tube with one hand while holding the tube with the other. 
  7. While holding the buffer tube over the cassette, slowly pour three drops of the liquid into the sample well, being careful not to generate bubbles. 
  8. Begin timing 15 minutes immediately and wait. 9 Dispose of the entire contents of the open test kit in the waste bag.

Result Interpretation:

Positive Result: If two red lines are visible between the C and T regions, this indicates a positive result. The lines can be bold or subtle. You tested positive for Covid-19. - A RT-PCR test is still necessary to confirm a Covid-19 infection. You are strongly encouraged to seek medical assistance promptly, even if you are experiencing no symptoms. - Adhere to the current standard operating procedure. 

Negative Result: If there is only one red line between C and T, the result is negative. - You are unlikely to have Covid-19. However, you should continue monitoring for symptoms if you feel you may have been exposed to the virus, as a false-negative result is possible. - If you experience symptoms later, it is recommended that you get an RT-PCR test for confirmation. 

Result that is not valid If there are no lines or if there is only one line by T, the result is invalid. The test was unsuccessful - you will need to repeat the procedure using a fresh test kit.

When you should do the COVID-19 Antigen Self-Test?

As the COVID-19 virus is still present in our community, it is very important for us to take precautionary steps to prevent the further spread of the infection. Besides wearing a mask, social distancing and proper hand washing or hand sanitising, you are recommended to do a COVID-19 Antigen self-test frequently to be clear of your infection status. 

You are recommended to do a self COVID-19 test around 4 days after exposure to symptomatic or positive individuals. Make sure to quarantine yourself to make sure you are not spreading the virus further if you are tested positive. You are also encouraged to do the test after coming back from social gatherings or crowded places.

Please remember that the COVID-19 self kit is just a screening test. Therefore, please go to the clinic and get an RT-PCR test if your self-test result is positive. Don’t forget to report your result to the local authorities. Isolate yourself from your family and beloved ones or your housemates and they also may need to be tested if you are confirmed positive.

Remember to buy the test kits that have been registered and approved by the Ministry of Health (MDA).

Return/Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION

  1. DoctorOnCall reserves the rights to cancel any orders if the product is not available for any reasons. DoctorOnCall will notify the Customer if that is the case and return any payment that the Customer have made. Refund will be credited into the Customer’s credit card or bank account depending on the period of time the Customer’s financial institution required to arrange for the refund.
  2. The Customer is not allowed to cancel the order once the order has been picked and packed by DoctorOnCall.
  3. Orders that requires a doctor/pharmacist consult will be automatically cancelled and refunded if the customer is unreachable after 5 attempts (within 2 working days). A cancellation notification will be sent to the Customer’s email.

RETURN AND/OR EXCHANGE

Return and/ or Exchange of Products can be arranged under the following reasons:

  1. If the Product was delivered in a damaged or defective condition; or
  2. If the Product has expired or is nearing expiry (less than 6 months); or
  3. If the product delivered is different from what was ordered
  4. "Change of mind" is not allowed as a reason for return and/ or exchange

  2. The Customer shall examine the Product(s) immediately upon receiving for any deficiencies and/or damages.
  3. Should the Customer wish for return and/ or exchange, DoctorOnCall has to be notified via our customer service email at contact@DoctorOnCall.com.my or hotline at 03 - 8048 2000 within one (1) day of receiving the product. DoctorOnCall reserves the rights to reject the request for return and/ or exchange if not notified by the Customer within one (1) day of receiving the product.
  4. The Customer will be contacted by DoctorOnCall within one (1) day of request for return and/ or exchange to inform the Customer of the return and/ or exchange process.
  5. Upon approval of the Return and/ or Exchange request, the Customer is to deliver the affected Product back to the address of the vendor as stated on the parcel received
  6. The affected Products MUST be returned in its new, unused, original condition, with quantity and packaging was delivered to Customer.
  7. For rehab products, wheelchairs, electronic products, and medical devices, all products must be returned in its original packaging with cables, accessories, and documentations including manuals and warranty card intact.
  8. Failure to return the Product as described in clause 6 and 7 will result in a cancellation of the return and/ or exchange request, and any fees incurred in delivering the package back to the Customer will be borne by the Customer
  9. The return of a Product by a Customer does not automatically warrant for an exchange or refund. DoctorOnCall will inspect the returned Products upon receipt of the same. If the conditions in clause No. 6 and 7 of this Return and/ or Exchange Policy have been fulfilled, refunds/ exchanges will be made to the Customer, and the Customer will be reimbursed by DoctorOnCall for any courier charges incurred in returning of the Products. A courier payment slip is to be furnished to DoctorOnCall for the purpose of reimbursement.
  10. All replacements or exchange of Products shall be effected subject to stock availability. If a Product which was ordered and invoiced is not included in the delivery, DoctorOnCall shall either refund the Customer the value of that Product, or replace the ordered Product.
  11. If any Product which was not included in the Customer's Order is delivered to the Customer, DoctorOnCall shall collect the Product from the Customer. If a Customer is charged more than the value of a Product as displayed on the site when the Customer makes its Order, DoctorOnCall shall refund to the Customer the difference.
  12. All refunds will be made via the same mode of payment within 2 months. Customer's receipt of the refund will depend on the period of time the selected financial institution takes to finalise the refund. DoctorOnCall shall not be liable with respect to any loss, damage, cost or expense that the Customer or any person may incur as a result of any delay in the financial institution processing of the said refund.
