Stadovas 5mg Tablet may be used alone or in combination with other medications. The dosage is determined by the reason for your prescription and the severity of your illness. It may be taken with or without meals at any time of day, although it is recommended to take it at the same time each day. You should take this medication for the whole time that it has been recommended for you. Do not stop taking this medication on your own, even if you are feeling well. Your condition may worsen if you stop taking it. While using this medication, follow your doctor's instructions. Headache, tiredness, nausea, stomach discomfort, and drowsiness are the most frequent adverse effects. If any of these side effects concern you or do not go away, talk to your doctor. They may be able to advise you on how to avoid or lessen the negative effects. If you have any liver, heart, or renal issues, tell your doctor before taking it. Women who are pregnant or nursing should seek medical advice before using this medication. You should also inform your doctor about any other medications you're taking, particularly those for high blood pressure or heart problems.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Besides the uses, people who are taking Cozaar may also develop certain side effects, such as:
1. Fatigue
2. Headache
3. Dizziness
4. Vertigo
5. Diarrhea
6. Dyspepsia
7. Stomach ache
8. Cough
9. Chest pain
10. Palpitation
11. Hypotension
12. Sinus problem
13. Hyperkalemia
Some of these symptoms are more common than the others. If you are developing any of the stated side effects (whether listed or not), please talk to a doctor as soon as possible. You also need to refer to a doctor if some symptoms such as skin rash or blurred vision occur. This list may not be complete, therefore do inform if you are experiencing other symptoms. These symptoms become more visible with longer duration of intake.
Precautionary Steps of Cozaar 50mg Tablet 15s (strip)
Before starting Cozaar, please consult a doctor especially if you are having any of the listed problems. Contraindications:
· Dehydration
· Electrolyte imbalance
· Liver disease
· Renal disease
· Allergy to Cozaar or any of its contents.
· It is not advisable for children and babies. Please keep it away from their reach
· Hypersensitivity
Drug interactions with Cozaar:
Interactions may differ individually. You are encouraged to ask your doctor about any possible interactions of this drug.
· Potassium sparing diuretics
· Potassium-containing supplements
· Rifampicin
· NSAIDs
· Fluconazole

Alcohol Warning (Safe)
It is safe to consume alcohol with Cozaar 50mg Tablet 15s (strip). Consuming Cozaar 50mg Tablet 15s (strip) With alcohol will not interfere with the way the medication works.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Cozaar 50mg Tablet 15s (strip) may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk based on adverse reaction data from investigational or marketing experience or studies in humans. It is contraindicated in 2nd and 3rd trimester pregnancy.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Cozaar 50mg Tablet 15s (strip) is most likely safe to be used during lactation. There are limited data suggesting that the medication does not pose a significant risk to the baby. Please consult your doctor before use.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
There are no studies of Cozaar 50mg Tablet 15s (strip) on the effect of ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (High Risk)
Cozaar 50mg Tablet 15s (strip) is contraindicated in patients with renal impairment (GFR <60 mL/min). Dose adjustment of Cozaar 50mg Tablet 15s (strip) and monitoring of renal function is necessary. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Cozaar 50mg Tablet 15s (strip) is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment. Dose adjustment of Cozaar 50mg Tablet 15s (strip) is necessary. Please consult your doctor.
Quick Tips
Take Cozaar 50mg Tablet at the same time every day to avoid missing it and develop a regular routine.
Do not stop taking Cozaar 50mg Tablet without first consulting your doctor.
For the first several days, Cozaar 50mg Tablet may cause dizziness and tiredness. Use this medication with caution when driving or doing activities that require attention. Rise carefully, If you've been sitting or laying down, to avoid dizziness or fainting.
Regular blood tests may be conducted to monitior urea, cretinine and potassium levels in blood.
Avoid using Cozaar 50mg Tablet with other medications such as anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen without first checking with your doctor.
