Overview
Denture irritation usually caused by bad dentures. A good denture is supposed to fit the top of your gums perfectly. If it is not made well, it may end up being too tight that will pinch your gums; if it is too loose, the denture may slide around, shearing and knocking the gums causing swelling and irritation. Sometimes, the material used for a denture may not be suitable for you as an allergic reaction may occur. This constant irritation may lead to ulceration of your gums, exposing the individual to a higher risk of oral infection. Thus, if you have a problem with your denture, do not hesitate to seek help from your dentist to make yourself a better denture.
