Eye infection is cause by microorganisms such as bacteria, virus or fungi. They will present with a variety of eye symptoms such as red eyes, pain, eye discharge, watery eyes, dry eyes, light sensitivity, swelling of the eyes, itchiness, and blurring of vision. There are several types of eye infections and some of the common ones are conjunctivitis, viral keratitis, fungal keratitis, acanthamoeba keratitis, and endophthalmitis.
