Overview

Headache is a vastly complained problem to doctors. While tension headaches are the most common, there are also other types of headaches such as the disabling and treatable headaches such as migraine and cluster headache.

Signs and Symptoms

Computerised tomography (CT) brain, Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain, Electroencephalogram (EEG)

Treatment and Prevention

Antidepressants, Beta-blockers, Anti-seizure medications, Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs), Botulinum toxin, Acupuncture, Massage, Electrical stimulation of the occipital nerve, Treatment of the underlying cause
