Atozet 10/20mg consist of ezetimibe and atorvastatin calcium.Both ingredients work together harmoniously to get you the best results possible. 

Ezetimibe comes in the form of a white, crystalline powder that is practically insoluble in water but freely soluble in ethanol, methanol, and acetone. Calcium atorvastatin is another powerful element within Atozet 10/20mg that has a molecular weight of 1209.36 and is white or nearly white in color powder form which is soluble enough for maximum effectiveness.

Side Effects

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable) It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Atozet 10/20mg Tablet. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness and nausea. Please consult your doctor for more details. Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe - High Risk) Atozet 10/20mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. Human and animal studies have shown positive evidence of fetal risk. The risk of using Atozet 10/20mg Tablet in pregnant women outweigh potential benefits.Atozet 10/20mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown side effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable even with the risk. Please consult your doctor. Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable) Atozet 10/20mg Tablet is unsafe to use during lactation. Atozet 10/20mg Tablet has relatively high molecular weight and suggesting that it is not excreted in the milk, but some excretion would be expected. Thus, women prescribed with Atozet 10/20mg Tablet should not breastfeed due to potential adverse reactions of Atozet 10/20mg Tablet in a nursing infant.No academic reports explaining the use of Atozet 10/20mg Tablet for breastfeeding mothers have been located. However, if Atozet 10/20mg Tablet is taken by breastfeeding mothers, the nursing infant should be closely monitored for any adverse reactions. Driving Warning (Generally Safe) Atozet 10/20mg Tablet usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Atozet 10/20mg Tablet usually does not affect the ability to drive. Kidney Warning (Use With Care) Atozet 10/20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Atozet 10/20mg Tablet is mainly excreted via urine and it also can increase the serum creatinine levels. Dose adjustment of Atozet 10/20mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor for more details. Liver Warning (Use With Care) Atozet 10/20mg Tablet is unlikely to be used in patients with liver disease. The use of Atozet 10/20mg Tablet in patients with active liver disease is contraindicated. Please consult your doctor for more details.

Precautionary Steps of Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s

Please consult a doctor especially before taking Atozet. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-
  • Allergy to Atozet or any of its components
  • Acute Liver Disease
  • Hypersensitivity
  • unexplained persistent serum transaminases elevation. 
  • Pregnancy 
  • Lactation
  • Myopathy 
  • Jaundice
  • Recent stroke or transient ischemic attack
  • Substantial alcohol consumption &/or history of liver disease.  
  • moderate to severe hepatic impairment

Please stop using this medication if you are experiencing these symptoms and conditions.

Drug to drug interaction reaction of Atozet varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.
  • Clarithromycin
  • HIV & hepatitis C protease inhibitors
  • Itraconazole
  • grapefruit juice (>1.2 L daily)
  • Cyclosporine
  • Gemfibrozil
  • Fenofibrate
  • fusidic acid
  • Niacin
  • Colchicine
  • Cholestyramine
  • Fibrates
  • breast cancer resistant protein (BCRP) inhibitors (eg, elbasvir, grazoprevir)
  • Efavirenz
  • Rifampin
  • colestipol
  • Digoxin
  • Oral Contraceptives (eg, norethindrone & ethinyl estradiol)
