Introduction of Duopharma Beamotil Tablet

Headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, lethargy, diarrhoea, and rash are all common adverse effects of this medication. These are typically not dangerous, but if they concern you or do not go away, see your doctor. Some individuals may have a skin response or liver damage in rare cases. During the first several weeks of therapy, your doctor will keep a careful eye on you for these.

How To Use Duopharma Beamotil Tablet

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Precautionary Steps of Duopharma Beamotil Tablet

Please consult a doctor especially before taking Beamotil. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-

  • Allergy to Beamotil or any of its components
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Liver Disease
  • Kidney disease 
  • Diarrhoea caused by pseudomembranous colitis
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Glaucoma
  • Oesophageal reflux
  • Hypertension
  • Overactive thyroid gland 
  • Prostate enlargement
  • Myasthenia gravis

  • Breastfeeding

Beamotil Drug Interactions

Drug to drug interaction reaction of Beamotil varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.

  • Antihistamine (eg. cetirizine)

  • Barbiturates

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Duopharma Beamotil Tablet . Taking Duopharma Beamotil Tablet with alcohol may have additive effects in increasing heart rate. You may also experience confusion, dizziness and palpitations.It is not advisable to take alcohol with Duopharma Beamotil Tablet as it would potentiate effects of CNS depressants

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Duopharma Beamotil Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.Duopharma Beamotil Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown side effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable even with the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Duopharma Beamotil Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that Duopharma Beamotil Tablet does not represent a significant risk to the baby.Duopharma Beamotil Tablet is shown to be excreted in breast milk. It is not advisable for women to breastfeed while consuming Duopharma Beamotil Tablet because of its potential adverse effects on infants.

Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Duopharma Beamotil Tablet may cause side effects such as visual disturbances, giddiness and delayed reaction time, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Duopharma Beamotil Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness or numbness, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.

Kidney Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
Duopharma Beamotil Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. However, dose adjustment of Duopharma Beamotil Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Duopharma Beamotil Tablet is safe to be used in patients with kidney disease and no dosage adjustment required. However, please consult your doctor.

Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Duopharma Beamotil Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. However, dose adjustment of Duopharma Beamotil Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Duopharma Beamotil Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Duopharma Beamotil Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

1. What should I do when I missed a dose of Beamotil?

If you have missed a dose by chance, try to consume it as soon as possible when you notice. If the time to your next dosage is close, simply skip the medicine. In such cases, try to not double the dosage. 


2. I  think I have accidentally overdosed from the prescribed quantity of Beamotil. Do I need to see a doctor?

If you feel that you might have used more than the prescribed quantity of Beamotil, please talk to a physician immediately as overdosage might lead to undesirable side-effects. 


3. Am I allowed to drink alcohol after taking Beamotil?

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended with Beamotil. The resulting interaction between this medication with alcohol may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness and also it might raise the risk of side effects occurrence. In any case, do not consume more than 90 mL a day.


4. Will the consumption of Beamotil affect the child that I am bearing?

No sufficient information is available about the usage of Beamotil during pregnancy. You’re advised to consult an obstetrician for detailed information before start consuming this drug. Pregnant women can weigh the pros and cons of the drug with the help of a doctor before it is used.

DoctorOnCall reserves the right to reject the request for return and/ or exchange if not notified by the Customer within one (1) day of receiving the product.
  4. The Customer will be contacted by DoctorOnCall within one (1) day of request for return and/ or exchange to inform the Customer of the return and/ or exchange process.
  5. Upon approval of the Return and/ or Exchange request, the Customer is to deliver the affected Product back to the address of the vendor as stated on the parcel received
  6. The affected Products MUST be returned in its new, unused, original condition, with quantity and packaging was delivered to Customer.
  7. For rehab products, wheelchairs, electronic products, and medical devices, all products must be returned in its original packaging with cables, accessories, and documentations including manuals and warranty card intact.
  8. Failure to return the Product as described in clause 6 and 7 will result in a cancellation of the return and/ or exchange request, and any fees incurred in delivering the package back to the Customer will be borne by the Customer
  9. The return of a Product by a Customer does not automatically warrant for an exchange or refund. DoctorOnCall will inspect the returned Products upon receipt of the same. If the conditions in clause No. 6 and 7 of this Return and/ or Exchange Policy have been fulfilled, refunds/ exchanges will be made to the Customer, and the Customer will be reimbursed by DoctorOnCall for any courier charges incurred in returning of the Products. A courier payment slip is to be furnished to DoctorOnCall for the purpose of reimbursement.
  10. All replacements or exchange of Products shall be effected subject to stock availability. If a Product which was ordered and invoiced is not included in the delivery, DoctorOnCall shall either refund the Customer the value of that Product, or replace the ordered Product.
  11. If any Product which was not included in the Customer's Order is delivered to the Customer, DoctorOnCall shall collect the Product from the Customer. If a Customer is charged more than the value of a Product as displayed on the site when the Customer makes its Order, DoctorOnCall shall refund to the Customer the difference.
  12. All refunds will be made via the same mode of payment within 2 months. Customer's receipt of the refund will depend on the period of time the selected financial institution takes to finalise the refund. DoctorOnCall shall not be liable with respect to any loss, damage, cost or expense that the Customer or any person may incur as a result of any delay in the financial institution processing of the said refund.
