Introduction of Ceretam 800mg Tablet 90s
Ceretam 800mg Tablet is a medication that may be taken with or without meals. To keep a constant level in the blood, it is recommended that you take this medication at the same time each day. If you forget to take a dosage, do so as soon as you recall. Even if you feel better, do not miss any doses and complete the whole course of therapy. This drug should not be discontinued without seeing your doctor, since it may cause twitching or jerking movements, as well as a recurrence of the illness.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Taking this medicine at the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it down as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it down. Ceretam 800 mg tablet can be taken with or without food, but it is best taken at a set time.
Some of the common side effects of this drug include nervousness and abnormality of voluntary actions. They are however, temporary and usually subside on their own after some time. Please consult your doctor if they don't subside or bother you. It can also induce dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do something that needs a mental concentration.

Drug to drug interaction reaction of Ceretam varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
Because alcohol decreases the brain oxygen, it works in opposite of the medication Ceretam 800mg Tablet 90s. Taking Ceretam 800mg Tablet 90s with alcohol may have cancelling effect therefore deemed useless.
Pregnancy Warning (Limited Data)
Although there is no data available on the effect of Ceretam 800mg Tablet 90s on pregnant women, Ceretam 800mg Tablet 90s is found to be able to cross the placental barrier. Therefore, it is contraindicated in pregnancy.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Ceretam 800mg Tablet 90s is contraindicated in breastfeeding mothers because it is found to be excreted in the mother's milk.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Ceretam 800mg Tablet 90s may cause side effects such as drowsiness and nervousness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Ceretam 800mg Tablet 90s can be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ceretam 800mg Tablet 90s may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, it is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Ceretam 800mg Tablet 90s can be used in patient with liver problems and dose adjustment is not needed.
Quick Tips
Ceretam 800mg Tablet may cause dizziness. Do not take Ceretam 800mg Tablet before driving or perform any activities that require attention until you know how it affects you.
Notify your doctor if you have bleeding issues or if you are on any blood thinning medication
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
While on Ceretam 800mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you experience any stomach pain, diarrhoea or vomiting.
Do not abruptly stop taking Ceretam 800mg Tablet without consulting the doctor.
