How To Use Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
Before taking Diamicron MR medication, please consult doctor's advice especially if you have any of the following illnesses. 

Contraindicated disease:

· Allergy to Sulfonylureas
· Allergy to Sulfonamides
· Type I diabetes
· Pre-Communal Diabetics
· Diabetic Coma
· Diabetic ketoacidosis
· Kidney problem
· Heart problems
· Allergies to Diamicron MR or any other ingredients
· It is not recommended for use by baby children. Please keep it away from children
· Hypersensitivity

Please stop taking the medication if you have the following symptoms of Diamicron MR.

Reaction between Diamicron MR:

Reactions vary by individual. You are encouraged to ask your doctor about the possibility of reactions between the medicines before taking them.
· Miconazole
· Phenylbutazone
· Beta-blockers
· Fluconazole
· NSAIDs
· Clarithromycin
· Chlorpromazine
· Alcohol
· Salbutamol
· Ritodrine 

This is a list of reactions between incomplete medicines and illnesses that may interfere with Diamicron's MR medication.

Before you take this medicine, please inform your doctor about all the medicines you ambil.Sila remember the following  warnings  also:

· Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight
· Avoid using this medication prolonged
· Alcohol may affect your liver if taken with this medicine

Tell your doctor about other diseases you are experiencing or about other medicines you are using. Do not stop taking medicines that have been determined by the doctor.
Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
Alcohol may accentuate hypoglycaemic effect caused by Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet. Thus, it is not advisable to consume alcohol during the treatment with Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet.

Pregnancy Warning (C)
Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicities and prolonged severe hypoglycaemia has been reported in newborns to mother receiving Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet at time of delivery. Thus, it is contraindicated during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Warning (Not Safe To Breastfeed)
There are no data on the effect of Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet upon breastfed babies. Thus, Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet is contraindicated during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor.

Driving Warning (Safe)
Diamicron MR 60mg Tablet usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Kidney Warning (High Risk)
Dose adjustment may be needed in patients with moderate kidney impairment. It is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney impairment. Please consult your doctor.

Liver Warning (Safe)
Dose adjustment may be needed in patients with moderate liver impairment. It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment. Please consult your doctor.

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

In addition to these functions Diamicron MR and its uses, there may be side effects associated with this drug. Please see the list below:
1. Hypoglycemia
2. Nausea
3. Vomiting
4. Diarrhea
5. Constipation
6. Stomach pain
7. Stomach uncomfortable

Although some common symptoms occur, there are fewer symptoms. If you have any symptoms (whether listed above or not), please  speak to the doctor  immediately. You should also consult your doctor if you have vision blurring or skin rashes. The above list may be incomplete and please inform if you have other symptoms. These symptoms are more pronounced if the drug is used extensively.
1. I forgot to take one dosage of Diamicron MR. What should I do?
 
If you forget to take a dose of your medication, take the medicine once you remember. But if the time has come or is near to the next dose, ignore the unnecessary dosage. In such a situation, avoid taking twice as much dosages as advised.
 
2. I over-take Diamicron MR dosage from the recommended quantities. What steps should I take?
 
If you think you have taken Diamicron MR more than the recommended quantity, please consult your doctor's advice immediately. Medication over doses advised may lead to undesirable side effects.
 
3. Can Diamicron MR be taken besides taking alcoholic beverages?
 
Intake of alcoholic beverages is not recommended when you are taking Diamicron MR medication. The reaction between this drug and alcohol may increase the risk of undesirable side effects and may cause overdose and fantasy drowsiness. In any case, do not take more than 90mL within a day
 
4. Is it safe to take Diamicron MR during pregnancy?
 
There is no information about Diamicron MR usage when pregnant women. You should consult a woman's expert for further information before taking the medicine. Pregnant women should look into the benefits and disadvantages of the drug with a doctor before taking it.
 
5. Is it safe to use Diamicron MR when breastfeeding?
 
There is no information about the use of Diamicron MR during breastfeeding. You should consult a woman's expert for further information before taking the medicine. Pregnant women should look into the benefits and disadvantages of the drug with a doctor before taking it.
 
6. Can I drive a vehicle when taking Diamicron MR?
 
 It is not recommended. Diamicron MR may cause you to feel overdone and imaginative. It can also interrupt the mindset. Additionally, it can also cause blurred vision. It is not safe for you to drive when experiencing the symptoms.
 
7. Is Diamicron MR drug use to addiction?
 
No. Medication leading to addiction is usually classified under the list of H or X tables in India and the list of tables 2-5 in the US state. Please read the information listed on the medication pack carefully.
8. I took one dose of the drug that has been expired. What should I do?
Taking a dose of Diamicron MR drugs that have passed the expiration date may not bring any adverse effects. But you are encouraged to talk to a doctor as a precautionary measure.
  
9. Can I take Diamicron MR besides supplements such as Zincovit, D-rise 60k?
 
Yes, medicines, MR Diamicron are safe to take with supplements. But you are advised to inform your doctor about taking all medications and supplements before using this medication.
 
10. Is Diamicron MR safe for use?
 
Yes, MR Diamicron medicines are safe to use if the dosage taken is as advised by your doctor.
 
11. Can MR Diaminron medications be stopped immediately or should the dosage of the drug be reduced gradually before being stopped?
 
There are several types of medicines that can not be stopped immediately because it leads to 'withdrawal' symptoms. You are advised to seek advice from your doctor about the use of this drug and if there is any 'withdrawal' symptoms.
 
12. How many times a day should I take Diamicron MR?
 
The dosage and frequency of Dr Diamicron MR depend on your illness. Please take the medication as advised by your doctor or follow the instructions printed for the product.
