It is safe to consume alcohol with Econazine Cream 10g but not advisable if you apply alcohol at the same area as you apply Econazine Cream 10g to the skin. Both can cause skin irritation that may worsen the effects. As Econazine Cream 10g Topical is used topically, the risk of interacting with alcohol consumed is negligible.Do not drink alcohol when you are taking Econazine Cream 10g as it might worsen the side effects.

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Econazine Cream 10g may be unsafe to use during pregnancy because it was proven in animal studies that Econazine Cream 10g have harmful effects on the fetus. However, there are limited human studies to guarantee the safety of Econazine Cream 10g used in pregnant women. Please consult your doctor to know your benefits from use in pregnant women is more than the risk. The safety of Econazine Cream 10g Topical in human pregnancy is not established. Therefore, Econazine Cream 10g Topical should only be used for pregnant women after careful risk/benefit assessment by the doctor.Do inform your doctor if you are pregnant because Econazine Cream 10g crosses the placenta. Study of the animals reported some side effects on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans. Use it only when benefits outweight the risks as there is a risk of adrenocortical suppression in newborn in mother on long-term corticosteroid therapy.

Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Econazine Cream 10g is excreted in breastmilk in a study done on rats after Econazine Cream 10g is administered orally. However, limited human evidence to prove the finding in the rats. Please consult your doctor to discuss the necessity of Econazine Cream 10g use or temporary off breastfeeding. It is not known whether Econazine Cream 10g Topical is excreted into the human breastmilk. It is not advisable to apply topical Econazine Cream 10g Topical on the chest to avoid accidental contact with the infant.There is inadequate data available for Econazine Cream 10g can pass into breast milk and may cause harm to the baby. Consult your doctor before taking this medication as Econazine Cream 10g can affect growth in children.

Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Econazine Cream 10g usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Econazine Cream 10g Topical is for external application. Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Econazine Cream 10g is excreted via urine after being metabolised, however, it is poorly absorbed from skin or vagina. Thus, insignificant amount would present in the body system. Econazine Cream 10g is most probably safe to be used in patients with kidney disease but it should be used with caution if it is taken orally. Dose adjustment may be needed if administered orally. Econazine Cream 10g Topical is not used for internal consumption and the amount absorbed into the circulatory system also is negligible. It is, therefore, safe to be used even in a patient with renal impairment.Econazine Cream 10g should only be used with doctor's advice as this medication contain sodium and is excreted by the kidneys, therefore it may cause impairment in pre-existing kidney disease.

Children, especially infants are particularly susceptible to side effects when using Econazine Cream 10g. A mild or moderate Econazine Cream 10g may be useful to relieve symptoms however more potent formulations of Econazine Cream 10g may be used for a short period of time under the supervision of a specialist.

Econazine Cream 10g should not be applied onto cracked or broken skin as it may slow down the healing process of the wound.
