CANCELLATION

  1. DoctorOnCall reserves the rights to cancel any orders if the product is not available for any reasons. DoctorOnCall will notify the Customer if that is the case and return any payment that the Customer have made. Refund will be credited into the Customer’s credit card or bank account depending on the period of time the Customer’s financial institution required to arrange for the refund.
  2. The Customer is not allowed to cancel the order once the order has been picked and packed by DoctorOnCall.
  3. Orders that requires a doctor/pharmacist consult will be automatically cancelled and refunded if the customer is unreachable after 5 attempts (within 2 working days). A cancellation notification will be sent to the Customer’s email.

DoctorOnCall reserves the rights to reject the request for return and/ or exchange if not notified by the Customer within one (1) day of receiving the product.
  4. The Customer will be contacted by DoctorOnCall within one (1) day of request for return and/ or exchange to inform the Customer of the return and/ or exchange process.
  5. Upon approval of the Return and/ or Exchange request, the Customer is to deliver the affected Product back to the address of the vendor as stated on the parcel received
  6. The affected Products MUST be returned in its new, unused, original condition, with quantity and packaging was delivered to Customer.
  7. For rehab products, wheelchairs, electronic products, and medical devices, all products must be returned in its original packaging with cables, accessories, and documentations including manuals and warranty card intact.
  8. Failure to return the Product as described in clause 6 and 7 will result in a cancellation of the return and/ or exchange request, and any fees incurred in delivering the package back to the Customer will be borne by the Customer
  9. The return of a Product by a Customer does not automatically warrant for an exchange or refund. DoctorOnCall will inspect the returned Products upon receipt of the same. If the conditions in clause No. 6 and 7 of this Return and/ or Exchange Policy have been fulfilled, refunds/ exchanges will be made to the Customer, and the Customer will be reimbursed by DoctorOnCall for any courier charges incurred in returning of the Products. A courier payment slip is to be furnished to DoctorOnCall for the purpose of reimbursement.
  10. All replacements or exchange of Products shall be effected subject to stock availability. If a Product which was ordered and invoiced is not included in the delivery, DoctorOnCall shall either refund the Customer the value of that Product, or replace the ordered Product.
  11. If any Product which was not included in the Customer's Order is delivered to the Customer, DoctorOnCall shall collect the Product from the Customer. If a Customer is charged more than the value of a Product as displayed on the site when the Customer makes its Order, DoctorOnCall shall refund to the Customer the difference.
  12. All refunds will be made via the same mode of payment within 2 months. Customer's receipt of the refund will depend on the period of time the selected financial institution takes to finalise the refund. DoctorOnCall shall not be liable with respect to any loss, damage, cost or expense that the Customer or any person may incur as a result of any delay in the financial institution processing of the said refund.

How To Use Glyade 80mg Tablet

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Precautionary Steps of Glyade 80mg Tablet

Please consult a doctor especially before taking Glyade. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-

  • Patients with G6PD deficiency
  • Patient under high stress load (surgery, infection, trauma)
  • Mild to moderate renal and hepatic impairment
  • Hypersensitivity to Glyade or other sulfonylureas
  • Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus
  • Diabetic ketoacidosis
  • Severe renal and hepatic impairment
  • Pregnancy and lactation
  • Miconazole use
Please stop using this medication if you are experiencing these symptoms and conditions.

 
Glyade Drug Interactions

Drug to drug interaction reaction of Glyade varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.
  • Increased hypoglycemic effect with use of phenylbutazone, other antidiabetics, β-blockers, ACE inhibitors, H2-receptor antagonists, MAOIs, sulfonamides, clarithromycin and NSAIDs
  • Reduced hypoglycemic effect with use of Chlorpromazine, glucocorticoids, ritodrine, salbutamol and terbutaline.
  • Increases effect of warfarin
  • Potentially fatal hypoglycemia if used with miconazole
This is an incomprehensive list of drug interactions and conditions that might interfere with Glyade. Before taking this drug, inform your doctor about all your present medications.

Keep the following precautions in mind as well:-
  • Avoid excess exposure to sunlight
  • Alcohol might affect your liver if it is taken with this medication
  • Tell your doctor if you have any other diseases or if you are taking any other medication
  • Do not discontinue the prescribed course
Alcohol Warning( Not Advisable )
Alcohol may accentuate hypoglycaemic effect caused by Glyade 80mg Tablet. Thus, it is not advisable to consume alcohol during the treatment with Glyade 80mg Tablet.

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicities and prolonged severe hypoglycaemia has been reported in newborns to mother receiving Glyade 80mg Tablet at time of delivery. Thus, it is contraindicated during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Warning ( Not Advisable )
There are no data on the effect of Glyade 80mg Tablet upon breastfed babies. Thus, Glyade 80mg Tablet is contraindicated during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor.

Driving Warning ( Generally Safe )
Glyade 80mg Tablet usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Kidney Warning ( High Risk )
Dose adjustment may be needed in patients with moderate kidney impairment. It is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney impairment. Please consult your doctor.

Liver Warning ( Use With Care )
Dose adjustment may be needed in patients with moderate liver impairment. It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment. Please consult your doctor.

These symptoms become more prominent as when one is undergoing a long term therapy with this medication.

1. I missed a dose of Glyade. What should I do?

If you have missed a dose by chance, try to consume it as soon as possible when you notice. If the time to your next dosage is close, simply skip the medicine. In such cases, try to not double the dosage. 


2. I  accidentally overdosed from the prescribed quantity of Glyade. What should I do?

If you feel that you might have used more than the prescribed quantity of Glyade, please talk to a physician immediately as overdosage more than the prescribed quantity might lead to undesirable side-effects. 


3. Can Glyade be used along with alcohol?

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended with Glyade. The resulting interaction between this medication with alcohol may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness and also it might raise the risk of side effects occurrence. In any case, do not consume more than 90 mL a day.


4. Is it safe to use Glyade during pregnancy?

Limited Information is available about the usage of Glyade during pregnancy. You’re advised to consult an obstetrician for detailed information before start consuming this drug. Pregnant women can weigh the pros and cons of the drug with the help of a doctor before it is used.
