Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Kefentech 30mg Plaster. Taking Kefentech 30mg Plaster with alcohol may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.

Pregnancy Warning (C)
Kefentech 30mg Plaster may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. It should be avoided in the first and second trimester of pregnancy and is contraindicated especially during the 3rd trimester or near delivery. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited human reproductive studies. The benefits from the use of Kefentech 30mg Plaster in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Warning (Not Safe To Breastfeed)
Kefentech 30mg Plaster is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Some amounts of oral Kefentech 30mg Plaster are excreted in breast milk whereas the topical Kefentech 30mg Plaster is absorbed into the skin, hence it should not be used during breastfeeding.

Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Kefentech 30mg Plaster may cause side effects such as sleepiness, dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness or visual disturbances, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.

Kidney Warning (High Risk)
Oral and rectal administration of Kefentech 30mg Plaster is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver Warning (Safe)
Oral and rectal administration of Kefentech 30mg Plaster is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment. Please consult your doctor.

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Drowsiness, Dizziness, Nausea, Vomiting, Abdominal discomfort, Urticaria, Skin rash, Tinnitus, Blurring of vision, Swelling of the limbs

Mechanism of Action
Kefentech 30mg Plaster belongs to the class of Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID). It has various properties of antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic, by reversibly inhibiting cyclooxygenase 1 and 2 enzymes which leads to a decrease in the formation of prostaglandin precursors.
