Introduction of Myfortic 180mg Tablet 120s

Myfortic 180mg Tablet is from  a drug class called immunosuppressants.

Follow the advice of your doctor. You may take it on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after a meal. Drink it as a whole, do not crush, chew, or break. Take the medicine daily to get the most benefits and, even though you feel fine, continue to take it.   

If you have some symptoms of illness, any unexplained bruising or bleeding, and if you have ever had a digestive system problem, you can talk to a doctor before taking this medication. Doctor may suggest some tests to monitor number of blood cells. Also, notify your doctor if experience any unexplained bruising or bleeding, sore throat, mouth ulcers or fever.

How To Use Myfortic 180mg Tablet 120s

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Side Effects

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Many side effects require minimal medical assistance and fades as the body responds to the medicine. Speak to the doctor if they continue or if you are particularly worried.

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, chest pain, headache, elevated blood pressure, and shifts in the amount of white blood cells are the most frequent side effects of the Myfortic 180mg Tablet. You can get more reactions than normal because it suppresses your immune system. For this reason, there is also an increased chance of contracting certain cancers. To reduce the risk of skin cancer, restrict your exposure to the sunlight and always use a sunscreen. 


Upper respiratory tract infections, Pneumonia Viral, Bacterial or fungal infections, Anaemia, Low platelet count, Anxiety, Dizziness, Headache, High/ low blood pressure, Cough, Difficulty breathing, Diarrhea, Abdominal pain

Warning Precautions

Alcohol Warning (Safe)

It is safe to consume alcohol with Myfortic 180mg Tablet 120s as there is no known drug interaction.

Pregnancy Warning (Limited Data)

Myfortic 180mg Tablet 120s is contraindicated in pregnancy as there is higher risk of losing a pregnancy (miscarriage) during the first three months (first trimester), and a higher risk that their baby will be born with birth defects.

Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)

There is no information regarding the presence of Myfortic 180mg Tablet 120s in human breast milk. Nevertheless, due to possible adverse effect of Myfortic 180mg Tablet 120s, it is contraindicated in lactating women.

Driving Warning (Limited Data)

There is no information regarding the influence of Myfortic 180mg Tablet 120s on the general concentration and the ability to drive.

Kidney Warning (Use With Care)

Myfortic 180mg Tablet 120s should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose titration of Myfortic 180mg Tablet 120s may be needed.

Liver Warning (Use With Care)

Myfortic 180mg Tablet 120s can be used in patients with liver disease. No dosage titration is required.

Quick Tips

  • This medication may take 6 to 12 weeks to start working. Continue to take it as directed.
  • It's best to take it with food to avoid unpleasant side effects like nausea and stomach pain.
  • It increases your susceptibility to infections. If you develop a sore throat, a high temperature, or any other signs of infection, avoid contact with people who have an infection and see your doctor right away.
  • Because it has the potential to cause birth defects, females of reproductive age must use birth control.
  • Wear protective clothing and apply sunscreen with a high sun protection factor to protect yourself from direct sunlight (SPF).
