Introduction of Plendil 10mg Tablet 15s (strip)

Plendil 10mg Tablet refers to a family of medicines known as blockers of the calcium channel.

It may be used on its own or along with other medications. The dosage regimen depends on the condition of the individual. You may take it at any time of the day with or without food, but it is best to take at a fixed time every day to remember better. Keep taking it as long as the doctor has suggested for you. Even though you feel better, do not quit taking this medication.

Before taking this medicine, inform the doctor if you have any issues with your liver, kidney or heart. Pregnant or breast-feeding women should also ask their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You will need to tell your doctor about other medications you take, including those used to control elevated blood pressure or other health problems, and the blood pressure should be monitored regularly.

How To Use Plendil 10mg Tablet 15s (strip)

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Side Effects

The most common side effects are fatigue, nausea, swelling of the legs or feet, dizziness, flushing and headache. Contact the doctor if you have been affected by any of these side effects or if they are persistent.

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)

Plendil 10mg Tablet 15s (strip) may be unsafe for use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor before using it.

Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)

Plendil 10mg Tablet 15s (strip) is probably safe to use during lactation even though it is excreted into breast milk. However, its effect on a feeding baby is largely unknown. Please consult your doctor before using it.

Driving Warning (Not Advisable)

Plendil 10mg Tablet 15s (strip) may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Quick Tips

You may experience significant drop in your blood pressure particularly when you take Plendil 10mg Tablet for the first time.
Slowly rise if you were sitting or lying down to lower the possibility of getting dizzy or falling.
It may lead to swelling of the knee or foot. Rise your legs as you sit down to reduce the swelling. If it doesn't go down, speak to a doctor.
This medicine could cause dizziness. Do not do something that involves mental concentration until you know how you're affected by Plendil 10mg Tablet.
If you are pregnant, planning a baby or breastfeeding, tell the doctor.

What If You Forget To Take

If you miss a dose of Plendil 10mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
