The majority of individuals do not have any negative side effects when using this medication. Headache, constipation, drowsiness or tiredness, and diarrhoea are the most prevalent adverse effects. These adverse effects are generally minor and go away if you stop taking the drug or get used to it. If any of these side effects annoy you or do not go away, talk to your doctor.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

While some these symptoms are more common, there are a few rare symptoms that could also occur. If you are feeling any other symptoms (whether it is mentioned in the above list or not), please consult with a doctor immediately. Please, consult with a doctor if you are having dizziness or blurry vision. Report if you experience any other symptoms as the above list may not be exhaustive. These symptoms become more prominent as when one is undergoing a long term therapy with this medication.

Warning Precautions
Precautionary Steps of Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s
Please consult a doctor especially before taking Ravimed. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-
Depression
Pregnancy
Incomplete abortion
Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding
Hypertension
Blood clot disorders
Please stop using this medication if you are experiencing these symptoms and conditions.
Ravimed Drug Interactions
Drug to drug interaction reaction of Ravimed varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.
Carbamezepine
Phenobarbital
Rifampicin
Phenytoin
This is an incomprehensive list of drug-to-drug interactions and conditions that might interfere with Ravimed function. Do inform your doctor about all your current medications prior to consuming this drug.

Do not discontinue the prescribed course
Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
Alcohol will be an added risk of low bone mineral density with simultaneous use of Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s. Taking Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s with alcohol may alaso interfere with the absorption and metabolism of Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe - High Risk)
Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s is contraindicated to use during pregnancy. Both animals and human studies have proven adverse effects on the fetus. The risks clearly outweigh the benefits of Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s. Please consult your doctor if pregnancy occurs.
Breastfeeding Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
Tablet: Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s and its metabolites are can pass into breast milk but risk to baby is minimal. Please consult your doctor. Injection: No adverse effects have been noted to child exposed to Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s, even though it can be secreted in breast milk.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
Dose adjustment of Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s is not needed since it is eliminated by hepatic metabolism.
Liver Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment. It should be used with caution in patients with any other liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ravimed 5mg Tablet 10s may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Quick Tips
Ravimed 5mg Tablet should be taken according to the recommended dosage and duration.
Menstrual irregularities, such as spotting or bleeding between periods or missed periods, are possible. Notify your doctor if it persists.
Stop taking Ravimed 5mg Tablet abruptly and notify your doctor if you experience severe headaches, pain on breathing, change in vision or hearing, or yellowing of skin or whites of eyes.
It is advisable to practice contraception while on Ravimed 5mg Tablet to avoid pregnancy.
Do not take Ravimed 5mg Tablet if you're pregnant or if you have a background of blood clots, stroke, heart problems, liver problems, or bleeding problems.
