Introduction of Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip)

Sibelium 5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. However, it is recommended to take it at the same time of day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Do not skip any doses and complete the full course of medication, even though you feel better and if you miss a dose, take it as soon as you recall. You should continue to take this medication as long as you are told by your doctor and do not quit taking it suddenly.

It can also cause weight gain and prevent you can eat a healthy balanced diet and should exercise regularly. This medication will cause changes in your behaviour, therefore it is important to monitor your behaviour regularly. Pregnant or breast-feeding mothers should consult their doctor before taking this medication.

How To Use Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip)

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Side Effects

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Most side effects do not need medical attention and disappear as the body responds to the medication. Consult your doctor if they continue or if you are worried about them.

Side effects associated with the use of this medication include muscle pain, tiredness, constipation, nausea, sleeping problems and runny nose. Other side effects that may be seen when taking this medication include increased appetite, depression, stomach discomfort, and breast pain. It can also cause sleepiness at the start of your treatment, so do not drive, operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.

Warning Precautions

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip). Taking Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip) with alcohol may worsen the side effects such as headache, and drowsiness.

Pregnancy Warning (Limited Data)

Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip) has not classified in the FDA Pregnancy Category.

Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)

Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip) is contraindicated for breastfeeding mothers.

Driving Warning (Generally Safe)

Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip) usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Kidney Warning (Use With Care)

Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip) may be needed. Patients with urinary tract obstruction are contraindicated to take Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip). Please consult your doctor.

Liver Warning (Use With Care)

Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Sibelium 5mg Tablet 20s (strip) and Liver Enzyme monitoring may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Quick Tips

  • Some precautions that can help improve your condition: Have meals at the same time every day, avoid bright lights and high temperatures, avoid loud music and noisy areas, avoid chocolates, cheese, processed food, alcohol and smoking, get enough sleep and avoid stress. 
  • Sibelium 5mg Tablet is best taken at night before bedtime.
  • May cause dizziness. Use Sibelium 5mg Tablet with caution when driving or doing activities that require attention until you know it affects you
  • Notify your doctor if you experience skin rashes, muscle aches, tremors, difficulty moving, or abnormal uncontrolled movements.

What If You Forget To Take

If you miss a dose of Sibelium 5mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
