Smood-10 10mg Tablet is taken before meals at the prescribed dosage and for the prescribed time by the doctor. The dosage that is prescribed to you will be determined by your medical condition and how you react to the medication. You should continue to take this medication unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. Inform your doctor of any other medicines you are taking since some of them may interact with, or be impacted by, this medication. The most often reported adverse effects are headaches, dry mouth, and stomach discomfort, among others. The majority of them are transient and generally resolve themselves over time. If you are at all worried about any of these side effects, you should contact your doctor right immediately to discuss them. It may also induce dizziness and drowsiness, so avoid driving or doing other tasks that demand mental concentration until you have determined how this medication affects you. Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages while taking this medication since it may make you feel more sleepy. It is preferable to drink lots of fluids when taking this medication since it may assist to avoid dehydration if used with other medications. Please inform your doctor if you have any liver or renal issues prior to beginning the use of this medication. It is not recommended to be used at the same time as an antacid. Expectant mothers should also speak with their doctor about this matter. If you have a stomach ulcer that is bleeding, you should avoid taking this medication completely.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
There could be a possible interaction between Smood-10 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) and alcohol. Otherwise, it is fairly safe to consume alcohol while on Smood-10 10mg Tablet 10s (strip).
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
There is limited data on human study regarding the use of Smood-10 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) among pregnant women. Animal studies have demonstrated reproductive toxicity when it is used at a high, toxic dose. The risk for the fetus in humans is still uncertain therefore it is recommended to only use Smood-10 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) if the benefits outweigh the potential risk to the fetus.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Generally, Smood-10 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) is excreted in breast milk and even though the infant only receives a small percentage of Smood-10 10mg Tablet 10s (strip)'s dose, cardiac effects remained unknown. To discontinue breastfeeding or stop taking Smood-10 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) depends on the therapeutic benefits to mother or benefits of breastfeeding for the infant.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Smood-10 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Smood-10 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with severe renal impairment as the elimination half-life is prolonged. Dose adjustment is also required and patients on prolonged therapy need to be monitored closely and regularly.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
In mild liver impairment, dose adjustment is not required however, Smood-10 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) must be avoided in moderate to severe liver impairment.

Smood-10 10mg Tablet is best taken on empty stomach before meals as recommended by your doctor.
May cause dizziness. Use Smood-10 10mg Tablet with caution when driving or doing activities that require attention until you know how it affects you.
Do not drink alcohol while on Smood-10 10mg Tablet as it may further affect your condition and cause drowsiness.
Dry mouth is a possible adverse effect. Use of frequent mouth rinses, excellent dental hygiene, increased water consumption, and sugarless sweets may assist.
Notify your doctor if you have watery diarrhoea, fever, or stomach discomfort that doesn't go away.
Use Smood-10 10mg Tablet for 7 days only, and do not exceed that limit.
