Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
In the limited animal studies done, it is found that Symbicort 80/4.5mcg Rapihaler 120 doses is excreted in small amounts in breast milk. There are no human studies done yet. Therefore, please consult your doctor to discuss the benefits versus risks before using Symbicort 80/4.5mcg Rapihaler 120 doses.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Symbicort 80/4.5mcg Rapihaler 120 doses should not affect alertness or driving ability.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Symbicort 80/4.5mcg Rapihaler 120 doses should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease, even though there is limited data on the effects.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Use with caution as hepatic impairment may lead to accumulation of formoterol. Hence, close monitoring is required.
Warning Precautions
Symbicort is NOT a rescue medication and does NOT replace fast-acting inhalers to treat acute symptoms
Symbicort should not be initiated in patients during rapidly deteriorating episodes of asthma or COPD
