Introduction of Transamin 250mg Capsule 10s (strip)
Transamin 250mg Capsule must be taken in the prescribed dosage and for the prescribed time as prescribed by the doctor. If you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medication, you should avoid using it. Tiredness, nasal congestion, and muscular, bone, and joint pain are among the most frequent adverse effects of this medication. Inform your doctor if you have recently had heart surgery or if you have any renal illness of any kind. This medication is completely safe to use when pregnant or nursing a child. Furthermore, individuals with liver disorders may benefit from its usage without risk. It is not recommended to drink alcohol after taking this medication due to the possibility of severe sleepiness thereafter.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew or crush the capsule. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Tranexamic Acid 250mg may cause certain adverse reactions such as:
1. Diarrhea
2. Nausea
3. Vomiting
4. Disturbances in color vision
5. Giddiness
6. Hypotension
7. Thromboembolism
While some of the above symptoms could be common, some of the stated adverse effects rarely occur. Contraindications:
· Hypersensitivity to Tranexamic Acid 250mg and any of its ingredients
· Severe renal impairment
· Active intravascular clotting
· Thromboembolic disease
· Subarachnoid bleeding
Interactions:
Interactions with food and drugs differ on an individual basis. You are advised to ask your doctor about any possible interactions before taking Tranexamic Acid 250mg.
· Estrogens
· Factor IX complex concentrates
· Tretinoin

Animal studies have revealed no evidence of harm to the fetus, however, inadequate studies in pregnant women/animal studies have shown an adverse effect. Nevertheless, the use of Transamin 250mg Capsule 10s (strip) with caution in pregnancy should be cautious as it crosses the placenta.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Transamin 250mg Capsule 10s (strip) is excreted into breast milk, however, an antifibrinolytic effect in the infant is unlikely. Please consult your doctor before nursing your baby.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Transamin 250mg Capsule 10s (strip) usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
It has to be used with cautious because of slower removal of the medicine from the body. Also, blood levels are increased in patients with renal insufficiency and it should not be used in patients with severe renal impairment.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Transamin 250mg Capsule 10s (strip) is safe to be used in a cirrhotic patient suffering from upper gastrointestinal bleeding
