Introduction of Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip)
Inform your doctor about any medical problems you are experiencing, including poor blood circulation, diabetes, and immune system difficulties, as well as any medications you are taking (particularly steroids).
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
There could be certain side-effects associated with the usage of the medication. Please refer to the list below:-

Zanidip Drug Interactions
Drug to drug interaction reaction of Zanidip varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to double check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.

Cimetidine
Metoprolol
anticonvulsants (eg, phenytoin, carbamazepine)

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip). Taking Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) with alcohol may increase the vasodilating effect of Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip).
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe - High Risk)
Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) is contraindicated during pregnancy. The use of Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) may have a potential risk on the fetus. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) is not safe to use during lactation. Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) may be excreted in human breast milk and hence may have potential risk to breastfed infants. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) may cause side effects such as dizziness, tiredness or sleepiness, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (High Risk)
Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) may be needed. Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) is contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment with a creatine clearance rate of less than 30mL/min. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zanidip 20mg Tablet 25s (strip) may be needed. It is contraindicated in patients with severe livver impairment. Please consult your doctor.
