It is recommended that you take Erycin 250mg Tablet orally, ideally one hour before or two hours after a meal. Taking it on an empty stomach allows for the greatest absorption. This medication should be used on a regular basis, at equally spaced time intervals, as directed by your doctor. Even if you are feeling better, do not miss any doses and complete the whole course of therapy as directed. In certain cases, stopping the medication too soon may result in the illness returning or worsening. The most often seen adverse effects associated with this medication are vomiting, nausea, abdominal discomfort, and diarrhoea. These are typically just transient and disappear after the therapy has been completed. Consult your doctor if you notice that these side effects do not disappear or if they continue for an extended period of time. Before using this medication, tell your doctor if you have ever had an allergic reaction or had cardiac issues in your family. Women who are pregnant or nursing should speak with their doctor before using this medication.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
It is safe to consume alcohol with Erycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip). However, consuming Erycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) with alcohol may delay its absorption. Please consult your doctor before use.
Pregnancy Warning (Maybe Safe)
Use of Erycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) is acceptable during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies do not demonstrate adverse effects on the fetus, and there are no adequate studies in pregnant women. This medication should only be used when there is a clear indication of infection. Please consult your doctor before use.
Breastfeeding Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
Erycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) is probably safe to use during lactation. Erycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) is shown to be excreted in breast milk but only low concentration of the medication is found in fetal plasma. However, this medication should still be used with caution. Please consult your doctor before use.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Erycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
Erycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) is safe to be used in patients with kidney impairment.
Liver Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
Erycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with liver disorder. Dose adjustment of Erycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Erycin 250mg Tablet was given by your doctor to treat your infection and alleviate symptoms.
Complete the whole course of therapy. Do not miss any doses even if you are feeling better to avoid reoccurence.
Best taken on empty stomach 2 hours before or after eating.
Don't take antacids 2 hours before or after you take it.
Diarrhea may develop as a side effect, but it should subside after your treatment is over. If it doesn't go away or if you see blood in your faeces, contact your doctor.
Stop using Erycin 250mg Tablet and notify your doctor immediately if you get a skin rash, neck swelling, or trouble breathing while on it.
