Evista 60mg Tablet is safe to consume with or without food. Take it on a regular basis and do not stop taking it even if you feel better until your doctor informs you it is safe to do so. Along with taking the medication, you should exercise regularly to strengthen the muscles around the afflicted joint and maintain a healthy weight. You should also avoid smoking and heavy alcohol use while using this medication. Hot flashes, leg cramps, peripheral edoema, flu-like symptoms, joint discomfort, and sweating are the most prevalent side effects of this medication. If any of these adverse effects do not resolve or worsen over time, you should notify your doctor. Your doctor may be able to assist you in decreasing or preventing these symptoms by lowering the dose or recommending an alternate medication. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about all of the other medications you are taking to ensure that it is safe for you. Inform your doctor if you have any heart, kidney, or liver problems. Before using this medication, ask your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How To Use Evista 60mg Tablet 28s
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Warning Precautions
Alcohol Warning (Safe)
There is no known interaction between alcohol and Evista 60mg Tablet 28s when consumed concomitantly.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe - High Risk)
Evista 60mg Tablet 28s is used only in postmenopausal women and it may cause reproductive toxicities when used during pregnancy. Thus, it is contraindicated during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Excretion of Evista 60mg Tablet 28s is unknown in human breast milk. Thus, it is not advisable to be used during breastfeeding as risks to breastfed babies cannot be excluded. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Evista 60mg Tablet 28s usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Caution use has to be practised in patients with mild to moderate kidney impairment. Evista 60mg Tablet 28s is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney impairment. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Evista 60mg Tablet 28s is contraindicated in patients with liver impairment.
Quick Tips
Notify your doctor if you have cancer, heart failure, renal disease, high triglycerides or liver problems.
Notify your doctor about oestrogen treatment.
Do not take calcium supplements unless it is recommended by your doctor. Taking more than prescribed calcium supplements won't offer additional protection for your bones, but may produce severe side effects like kidney stones.
Stop Evista 60mg Tablet abruptly if you develop: breast lumps, symptoms of stroke (abrupt numbness or weakness), severe headache, slurred speech, vision difficulties; chest discomfort, sudden cough, wheezing, fast breathing, blood coughing; or pain, swelling, warmth, or redness in one or both legs.
Avoid sitting motionless for extended durations while on this medication.
Inform your doctor promptly if you notice vaginal bleeding/spotting during therapy.
Notify your doctor if you're pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
