Alcohol Not Advisable

Usage of Alverine Citrate with alcohol may increase the intensity of the side effects already caused by this medication.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Alverine Citrate may be unsafe to use during pregnancy due to limited number of human studies available

Lactation Limited Data

It is not known whether Alverine citrate will be excreted in a mother's milk during lactation. Hence, avoiding this medication is suggested.

Driving Not advisable

Alverine citrate may cause dizziness as a side effect. Hence it is not advisable to consume and drive.

Kidney Use With Care

Alverine citrate is excreted via the kidney. Therefore it is suggested to use the medication with care especially in patients with renal impairment.

Liver Use With Care

Effect of alverine citrate on kidney has limited data. However, some studies have shown that cessation of jaundice (due to hepatitis) happen as soon as the medication is stopped.
