How Calcium Lactate Works

Calcium Lactate dissociates into calcium cations and lactic acid anions which are needed for metabolic functions in our body. It helps to reduce the rate of bone loss, regulate nerve and muscle activity.

Calcium Lactate Related Warnings

Alcohol Not Advisable

There is no known interaction between alcohol and Calcium Lactate when used concomitantly. However, it is not advisable to consume alcohol during the treatment with calcium lactate as it may increase the risk of osteoporosis.

Pregnancy Not Safe

There are limited data on the use of Calcium Lactate during pregnancy. Thus, caution use has to be practised in pregnant women. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation Safe If Prescribed

Calcium Lactate is safe to be used during breastfeeding.

Driving Generally Safe

Calcium Lactate usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Kidney High Risk

Caution use has to be practised in patients with mild to moderate kidney impairment. It is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney impairment. Please consult your doctor.

Liver Safe If Prescribed

Calcium Lactate is safe to be used in patients with liver impairment.
