Clobetasone butyrate is commonly used to treat severe allergic reactions such as atopic dermatitis, irritant or allegic dermatitis, nappy rash, photodermatitis and contact dermatitis. it is also used to treat skin disorders such as prurigo nodularis and insect bite reactions.

How Clobetasone butyrate Works

Clobetasone Butyrate is a synthetic glucocorticoid. It suppresses inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandin, leukotrienes and others by inducing phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins (lipocortins) and sequentially inhibits the release of arachidonic acid.
