Alcohol Safe

It is safe to consume alcohol and Cyclopentolate as there is no drug interaction between them.

Pregnancy Limited Data

The safety of Cyclopentolate in human pregnancy is not established. Therefore, Cyclopentolate should only be used for pregnant women after careful risk/benefit assessment by the doctor.

Lactation Limited Data

It is not known whether Cyclopentolate is excreted into the human breastmilk. It is not advisable to apply topical Cyclopentolate on the chest to avoid accidental contact with the infant.

Driving Not advisable

It may interrupt with visibility during driving as the medication can cause transient blurry vision. Therefore, do not drive whilst you are on this medication.

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Dosage adjustment is not required as at low concentration, it does not produce any systemic effects.

Liver Limited Data

There is no dose adjustment needed in liver disease as it is a topical medication with low systemic effect.
