Alcohol Safe

Taking Dasabuvir together with alcohol may cause interactions to occur but no proven research indicates so. Please consult your doctor before using it.

Pregnancy Limited Data

Animal studies have failed to reveal evidence of teratogenicity but it has not been tested on individuals who are conceiving. It is best to avoid taking it during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor before using it.

Lactation Limited Data

Dasabuvir is excreted into the animal milk but its excretion in human milk is unknown or very low. Developmental and health benefits of breastfeeding to child should be considered as well as the mother's clinical need for this product.

Driving Generally Safe

Dasabuvir has negligible effect on your ability to concentrate and drive. You are allowed to drive unless you feel fatigued.

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Dasabuvir metabolism occurs in the kidney. However, the changes in Dasabuvir exposures in users with varying degrees of renal impairment is not significant and therefore doesn't require dose adjustment. Please do inform your doctor if you have underlying comorbidity.

Liver Limited Data

Dasabuvir should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dasabuvir is not required in patients with mild liver disease but it is contraindicated in moderate to severe liver disease. Please do inform your doctor if you have underlying comorbidity.
