Alcohol Safe

It is probably safe to consume alcohol with Emedastine difumarate. Taking Emedastine difumarate with alcohol has no known interactions. However, please consult your doctor before using it.

Pregnancy Maybe Safe

Animal studies have shown no adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor before using it.

Lactation Safe If Prescribed

Emedastine difumarate is probably safe to use during lactation as there is minimal systemic absorption. Limited human data suggests that Emadastine difumarate does not represent a significant risk to the baby. Please consult your doctor before using it.

Driving Not advisable

Emedastine difumarate may cause visual disturbances which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
