Fluticasone Furoate exhibits its anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive properties by depressing the formation, release, and activity of endogenous chemical mediators of inflammation through the induction of inhibitory proteins and inhibition of the release of arachidonic acid.

Alcohol Safe

There is no clear contraindication of the consumption of alcohol when taking Fluticasone Furoate.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Fluticasone Furoate may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk due to very little systemic exposure.

Lactation Limited Data

Due to different form of preparation and limited data, it is not known wether Fluticasone Furoate is excreted into human breastmilk or not. Caution should be taken when using Fluticasone Furoate.

Driving Not advisable

It is not advisable to drive when taking Fluticasone Furoate due to its potential side effects such as headache and dizziness which can affect the ability to drive and concentrate.
