How Nintedanib Works

Nintedanib blocks the multiple receptor tyrosine kinases and nonreceptor tyrosine kinases by binding completely to their ATP binding pockets which will inhibit the intracellular signaling.

Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Abdominal pain, Decrease appetite, Dehydration, Electrolyte disturbance, Headache, Rash, Febrile neutropenia

Alcohol Safe

It is safe to consume alcohol with Nintedanib. However one should always limit their alcohol intake.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Animal studies show Nintedanib carries potential risk towards the human fetus. This medication is advised to be discontinued during pregnancy unless the benefits outweigh the risks.

Lactation Limited Data

Animal studies show that a small amount of Nintedanib and its metabolites are excreted in breastmilk. This medication should not be administered during breastfeeding.

Driving Not advisable

Nintedanib may cause minor impairment in the ability of driving and operating machines. Only drive if you are feeling well.

Kidney Use With Care

Dose adjustment is needed with the patient with kidney impairments

Liver Limited Data

Treatment with Nintedanib is not recommended in patient with liver impairment
