Alcohol Limited Data

There is no information regarding drug interactions between alcohol and Nomegestrol Acetate.

Pregnancy Limited Data

Nomegestrol Acetate should not be used in pregnancy. Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicity on the fetus.

Lactation Not Advisable

Nomegestrol Acetate is excreted in human breast milk. Combined oral contraceptive pill (COCP) may reduce the quantity of Nomegestrol Acetate if it is used during lactation.Therefore, avoid using COCP during lactation and use alternative treatment.

Driving Generally Safe

Nomegestrol Acetate does not affect general concentration and ability to drive.

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Nomegestrol Acetate can be used in patients with severe kidney disease as it is unlikely to affect the elimination of Nomegestrol Acetate.

Liver Use With Care

There is no information regarding the safety or dose titration of Nomegestrol Acetate in patients with liver insufficiency.
