Palbociclib is commonly used to treat hormone receptor positive breast carcinoma.

How Palbociclib Works

Palbociclib is a reversible, selective inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4 and 6. Cyclin D1, CDK 4 and 6 are enzymes in the multiple signalling pathways of tumour cell proliferation.

Side Effects of Palbociclib

Low white blood cell count, Susceptible to infections, Fatigue, Nausea, Stomatitis, Low red blood cell count, Alopecia, Rash, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Decreased appetite, Vision blurred

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Palbociclibs's pharmacodynamic is not significantly affected in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Palbociclib may not be needed. Please consult your doctor before using it.

Liver Limited Data

Palbociclib should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate liver disease. Dose adjustment of Palbociclib may be needed in severe liver disease. Please consult your doctor before using it.
