Alcohol Safe

There is no known contraindication in alcohol consumption while taking Proparacaine.

Pregnancy Limited Data

There is no animal nor human reproductive data to conclude the safety of Proparacaine during pregnancy. It is therefore advisable to discuss the use of Proparacaine with your doctor.

Lactation Limited Data

It is not known whether Proparacaine is excreted into human breastmilk or not. It is not advisable to be used during breastfeeding according to the manufacturer labelling.

Driving Not advisable

It is not advisable to drive after Proparacaine treatment due to its potential side effects such as burning sensation to the eyes which can affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
