About Appeton Essentials Folic Acid Tablet 90s

Folic acid is a water-soluble synthetic vitamin that is found in supplements and fortified meals. A product, such as Appeton Essentials Folic Acid Tablet, is a synthetic form of folate, a B vitamin that occurs naturally in a variety of foods. Because the body cannot synthesise folate, it must be acquired through diet.

Both folic acid and folate are routinely used as supplements.

Although folic acid and folate are used to treat similar illnesses, their effects on the body are distinct.

1. Treatment of folate insufficiency
Folate deficiency can be caused by poor diet, surgery, pregnancy, drunkenness, and malabsorptive disorders. Deficiency can cause megaloblastic anaemia, birth abnormalities, immune system dysfunction, and other conditions. It is treated with folic acid and folate supplements.

2. Reduce Inflammation.
Inflammatory indicators such as C-reactive protein (CRP) have been proven to be reduced.
