1. Take the protective blister tab off
2. Screw to the right side while engaging straight
3. Discard the outside protective cap
4. Remove the protective inner cap
5. Pierce the skin and inject the insulin as directed by your pharmacist
6. Replace the outer protective cap, unscrew, and discard the discarded needle safely
