This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Loette Drug Interactions

Drug to drug interaction reaction of Loette varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.
  • Amobarbital 
  • Anostrozole
  • Carbamazepin
  • Warfarin
  • Heparin 
  • Phenytoin

Alcohol Warning (Limited information)
It is not advised to consume alcohol with Loette Tablet. Taking Loette Tablet with alcohol may worsen the CNS side effects such as headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, and nausea.

Pregnancy Warning (Limited information)
Loette Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. Both animal and human studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. The risk involved is clearly outweigh the potential benefits. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Warning (Limited information)
Loette Tablet is not recommended to use during lactation because it is secreted into breast milk. However, the potential exposure of the nursing infant to Loette Tablet can be reduced if the mother takes the tablet immediately after feeding and avoids nursing for at least the following 8 hours.

Driving Warning (Limited information)
Loette Tablet usualy does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Kidney Warning (Limited information)
Loette Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Loette Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver Warning (Limited information)
Loette Tablet is not recommended for patients with liver adenoma and any other hepatic impairment. Please consult your doctor.

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Apart from the list of Loette uses, there could be certain side-effects associated with the usage of the medication. Please refer to the list below:-

  3. Itching
  4. Allergic Reaction
  5. Diarrhea

  8. Breast enlargement


While some these symptoms are more common, there are a few rare symptoms that could also occur. These symptoms become more prominent as when one is undergoing a long term therapy with this medication.

1. What should I do when I missed a dose of Loette?

If you have missed a dose by chance, try to consume it as soon as possible when you notice. If the time to your next dosage is close, do not skip the medicine. 

2. I  think I have accidentally overdosed from the prescribed quantity of Loette. Do I need to see a doctor?

If you feel that you might have used more than the prescribed quantity of Loette, please talk to a physician immediately as overdosage more than the prescribed quantity might lead to undesirable side-effects. 

3. Will the consumption of Loette affect the child that I am bearing?

Consumption of Loette during pregnancy is not advisable. You’re advised to consult an obstetrician for detailed information before start consuming this drug. Pregnant women can weigh the pros and cons of the drug with the help of a doctor before it is used.

4. I am currently nursing my baby. Is it safe to use Loette during breastfeeding or lactation?
Consumption of Loette during breastfeeding or lactation is not advisable. You’re advised to consult an obstetrician for detailed information before start consuming this drug. Lactating mother can weigh the pros and cons of the drug with the help of a doctor before it is used.

5. Do I have to gradually reduce the dosage of Loette or can it be stopped abruptly? 
There are some drugs that cannot be stopped immediately as it can have some withdrawal symptoms. It is suggested to consult your physician regarding the usage of the medicine as well as withdrawal symptoms, if any.
 
6. Does Loette have an addictive property?

7. What should I do if I mistakenly took an expired dose of Loette?

Consuming an expired dose of Loette by accident might not be harmful but do consult your physician for advice just to be safe in this matter. 

8. Is it alright to use nutritional supplements such as Zincovit, D-rise 60k along with 
Loette?

Yes, Loette can be taken with supplements. However it is advisable to inform your doctor about all your current drugs as well supplements before taking this medicine.

9. Can you explain on the safety of the usage of  Loette?

Loette is safe to use if taken in the prescribed dosage as suggested by the physician.

10. In a day, how many times should I take Loette?

The dosage and frequency of Loette is once daily. Use the medication as directed by your doctor or follow the instruction printed on the product insert.
