Warning Precautions

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)

Consumption of alcohol with Malarone Tablet 12s may be unsafe as both can affect liver enzymes.It is safe to consume alcohol with Malarone Tablet 12s as there is no known drug interaction.

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)

Malarone Tablet 12s may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is no information regarding the adverse effects of Malarone Tablet 12s on the fetus and there are insufficient animal studies that have shown possible risks to the developing fetus. Nevertheless, the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk.There are limited human studies of the use of Malarone Tablet 12s in pregnancy. It should not be used in pregnancy unless the benefits from use in pregnant women outweigh the risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)

Excretion of Malarone Tablet 12s in human milk is unknown. Therefore, it is safer to avoid taking Malarone Tablet 12s during lactation.Malarone Tablet 12s is found to be excreted in human breast milk. However, the amount is negligible.
