This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
Before taking Nordette, please get a doctor’s advice especially if you have any of the following disease. Contraindications:
Allergic to Nordette or any of its ingredients
Liver disease
Asthma or other respiratory problems
Hypersensitivity
Breastfeeding mothers
Hypothyroidism
Breast cancer
Migraine
Depression
Myocardial infarction
Hypertension
Not to be used by children or babies
Please stop taking the Nordette if you experience any symptom.
Reaction towards Nordette:
Alcohol
Caffeine
Aromatase inhibitors (anastrozole)
Ospemifene
Tamoxifen
Tizanidine
Tranexamic acid
Reaction differs according to an individual. You are advised to ask a doctor regarding any reactions that may occur with other medications or substances before taking Nordette.
These are a few reactions between medication and diseases that is incomplete that might cause disturbance to Nordette.

Avoid exposure to excess sunlight
Avoid using this medication continuously
Alcohol might affect the liver if taken along with this medication

Alcohol Warning(Limited information)
It is not advised to consume alcohol with Nordette Tablet. Taking Nordette Tablet with alcohol may worsen the CNS side effects such as headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, and nausea.
Pregnancy Warning(Limited information)
Nordette Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. Both animal and human studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. The risk involved is clearly outweigh the potential benefits. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning(Limited information)
Nordette Tablet is not recommended to use during lactation because it is secreted into breast milk. However, the potential exposure of the nursing infant to Nordette Tablet can be reduced if the mother takes the tablet immediately after feeding and avoids nursing for at least the following 8 hours.
Driving Warning (Limited information)
Nordette Tablet usualy does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning(Limited information)
Nordette Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nordette Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning(Limited information)
Nordette Tablet is not recommended for patients with liver adenoma and any other hepatic impairment. Please consult your doctor.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Skin or eye colour becomes yellowish
Although some of these symptoms usually happen, there are a few symptoms that rarely happen. If you experience any of these symptoms (either mentioned or not), please talk a doctor immediately. 1. I forgot to take Nordette on a specific day. What should I do?
If you forgot to take one dose of your medication, please take it as soon as you realize it. But if the time to take the next dose is near then just ignore the dose that you forgot. In such situation, avoid taking the dose twice from what is advised.
2. I used over the Nordette medication from the recommended quantities. What steps should I take?
If you think you took Nordette more than the quantity advised, please refer to your doctor immediately. Consumption of the medication more from the dosage given might bring unwanted side effects.
3. Is it safe to use Nordette medication when breastfeeding?
There are no information regarding the usage of Nordette during breastfeeding. You will have to refer to a gynaecologist for further information before taking the medication. The breastfeeding lady should evaluate the pros and cons of the medication with a doctor before consuming it.
4. Does drug use Nordette lead to addiction?
